Power Sculptures
Inspired by animistic sculptures, specifically West African power objects, we will explore the power of intention and intuitive sculpture making. We will be working with air-dry clay, straw, strings, items from the natural world and little personal things that you bring to the workshop.
This is an exploration into realms beyond our waking mind as well as hands on physical work with clay. There will be a Shamanic journey with the drum beat supporting us on our quest for clarity. And we will be bringing back the true intentions you need to know to move forward in an empowered way.
These jewels will be kneaded into the power sculptures so that the form becomes alive with your intentions. Later in your day-to-day, whenever you look at the object you have made, this intention will be remembered and activated.
It is like making our own magic!
Please bring one or more really small personal objects and wear comfortable clothes that can get a bit dirty as we are going to work with clay.
No prior experience needed. All materials included.

Art From the Other Side
Together we go on a shamanic journey with the drum to discover guidance and insight from the symbolic realm. This is followed by a gentle creative session using art as a vehicle for self expression and visual journaling.

Seeing Me Seeing You - Women’s Life Drawing
This life drawing club brings the opportunity to become the model for a session! This is all about body positivity, self-acceptance and the scary but very liberating moment of being seen! Nakedness is optional, any amount of stripping off you are comfortable with is welcomed. Even if it’s just a shoulder. If there are no volunteering models for a session we draw each other as ‘clothed figures’.
