If we em-body, we can be in the world, not just in our heads. Do you know that a women’s menstrual cycle mirrors the seasons? They are deeply entrained with the cyclical rhythms of the earth. By developing an awareness of their specific energies and moods, we start to understand ourselves better.
Our bodies hold the wisdom (and the pain) of generations before us. But they are also the portal to an intimate relationship with all of life.
There is an inner knowing in each of us - far beyond the thinking mind - which is a woman’s instinctive animal body. It knows the way. All we have to do is listen.
Because this is so powerful, we have been discouraged from listening to this inner authority and instead have been taught to follow the lead of external voices. By re-claiming access to this mysterious self-knowledge and by applying it to our lives, we can access an enormous amount of power and agency.
During this Feeling Sisterhood gathering we will dive into our two main power centers - the heart and the womb.

Feeling Sisterhood are women’s gatherings that have been happening in Folkestone since 2021. Our aim is to bring back the tribal feeling of women sitting around a fire together, sharing stories and sorrows, laughter and resources.
One main intention is to dissolve the feeling of competition and envy that can linger between women and to increase trust, friendship and honest appreciation of each other - exactly as we are.
We are a non-judgemental group and revery supportive of whatever you may bring to the circle. We don’t try to fix or give unwanted advice, unless you ask for it.
Everything shared is held in confidentiality and deep respect. Come, join the tribe!
